Release Availability Options
1) Release on a Specific Date
- What it does: The release goes live on Acid Nation on the date you pick.
- How to use: Select the date you want it to appear.
- Tooltip: “Goes live on [Release Date].”
2) Pre-Release with Specific Date
- What it does: Pre-release starts the day you submit. The date you choose is the full release date. Fans can buy during pre-release; the purchase appears in their Downloads as a pre-order, and the files unlock on the full release date (not before).
- How to use: Upload on the day you want pre-release to start. Set the date field to the full release date.
- Example: Upload on 1 Sep → pre-release starts 1 Sep. Pick 20 Sep → full release on 20 Sep.
- Tooltip: “Pre-release starts today. Full release on [Selected Date].”
3) Exclusive on Acid Nation Until [Specific Date]
- What it does: The release is live only on Acid Nation from the day you submit. On the date you pick, exclusivity ends (you can release elsewhere).
- How to use: Upload on the day you want exclusivity to begin. Set the date field to the exclusive-until date.
- Tooltip: “Exclusive on Acid Nation until [Selected Date].”
Note: For Pre-Release and Exclusive, the submission day is the start date, and the selected date is the end/switch date.
